Dear Vandana,

Thank you for your email and for trusting us with the answers to your questions.

After reading your questions, I concluded that your main issue was that your friends and colleagues are not who you would like or expected them to be. I would suggest the following:

1. If you can, disassociate with them. Or,
2. Ignore them and their behaviors. The more you respond to them the more you will attract them. Or,
3. Do not expect anything from them. When the expectation is not met, it will leave us with disappointment. Or,
4. Treat all incidents as a valuable experience in life.
5. This one is a little difficult to do. There is a lot of love in your heart, so share with them. No one can fight love. As the saying goes “Love thy enemy”.

I read a little of the above. I really need to bring positive people into my life: Here are the types I’m trying to eliminate:
1. Instead of solving their own problems or researching on their own, I get questions like “Where should I consign my high end couch” or “You should be thankful that my husband helped your husband. He doesn’t do that for everyone.” I know what I am Thankful for.
or “Can you teach me how to…or where do I get the cheapest supplies for this project? So I can then sell it or make $$ off of it?”
2. I draw people in who say they are my friends, but never make the effort to call or check on me or make plans. I’ve been there for them, but they have not really been there for me.
3. I have attracted friends who only think about “What’s in it for them.”
4. I draw friends who refuse to get together one on one. It’s all our friends together or nothing. They are afraid of hurting another’s feelings.
5. I have friends who don’t reply to texts for days. “Are we still getting together tommorow” might be my text. No answer.
I need to draw positive, supportive people into my life. I deserve to be treated with respect and kindness too.
Any guidance on the stones would be helpful.
