Scene: Interior view of the Painted Chapel of King Thutmose III, dating back to the 18th Dynasty (c. 1450 B.C.). This artifact of Ancient Egyptian history was originally located at Deir el-Bahari and is now a prized exhibit in The Egyptian Museum, Cairo.
Postal: Adorned with two colorful Egyptian airmail stamps. One depicts traditional Felucca sailboats on the Nile, and the other shows the Great Pyramids of Giza. The stamp styles place this in the late 1970s to early 1980s.
