Scene: The "Kanc": Completed in 1959, the Kancamagus Highway is now a National Scenic Byway. This 1968 card captures the highway less than a decade after its full opening, during a time when it was becoming a premier destination for "leaf peepers."

Condition: The corners and edges are quite sharp with minimal wear. The back shows very light age-related tanning and a small, faint smudge in the center, but is otherwise clean with a bold, legible postmark and handwriting.
