Backside: The backsides of these prints feature Hungarian articles, columns, and illustrations covering a diverse range of topics from the 1930s. They may include art history biographies, geographic travelogues, and the newspaper's weekend mind-sport and crossword section.
Source: These colorful pages are from year 1930 of A Pesti Hírlap Vasárnapja 1930-1931, a nearly-antique Hungarian book of Sunday newspaper highlights.
Condition: Consistent with being a 1930s artifact, the delicate, double-sided page shows signs of age with marks, scratches, yellowing, creasing, and edge wear with knicks up to 10mm (some which may be concealed in a picture frame). The Madonna della Tenda print has a rounded top corner and a 35mm bottom tear, Sistine Madonna has a 5mm hole in blue dress, Seredi print has 11mm corner tear, a couple pieces have very minor corner clips.
Size: Approximately 27 x 18-19 cm, with variation along the corners, sides, and edges.
Uses: These versatile pages can be framed as vintage prints, used as a photography prop, or given as a standout gift. They serve as a unique references for fashion historians and are a dream find for junk journaling, scrapbooking, decoupage, and mixed media collage.
