This auction features a compelling pair of original, authentic British military portrait postcards from the World War I era. These historic items showcase two young service members in full uniform. One portrait features a Scottish soldier wearing a traditional military kilt, Glengarry bonnet with a dicing pattern, and a waist belt. The second portrait features a soldier or medical orderly in standard service dress trousers, a visor cap, and a distinct circular Red Cross or medical brassard visible on his left arm sleeve.
