Social History: The message on the back, sent by Sarah Jones, to Miss Esther Gathy, 394 Aileen Ave, Atlanta, GA offers a wonderful snapshot of 1920s cultural tourism:

"Am having such a wonderful trip. will be gone four weeks longer. today we visited many historical places in and around Boston. leave for New York tomorrow. hope you are well and enjoying vacation. don't forget I love you. Sarah Jones"

Scene: Features Orchard House in Concord, Massachusetts, the historic home where Louisa May Alcott wrote and set her classic novel, Little Women. The front includes a portrait of Alcott and a charming "Weekly Report" of the March sisters' behavior—a direct nod to the book's themes of moral growth.

Era: Divided Back

Size: Standard 3.5 x 5.5"

Type: lithograph

Publisher: M. J. Fallon, Roxbury, Mass

Condition: Note the diagonal crease through the Alcott portrait and top right corner. The edges show some wear, but the message and postmark are very legible.
