This is a vivid snapshot of booming post-war American industrial tourism featuring the bustling Upper Portal of the Bingham-Copperfield Vehicular Tunnel in Bingham Canyon, Utah. You can see two large Gray Line Sightseeing Tour buses, a dense mix of late 1930s and 1940s classic automobiles, fastbacks, and coupes at this tunnel opening. 

This tunnel access point was completely closed off and buried by mining debris in the mid-1950s, making this an invaluable architectural record of a lost American landmark.
