Social History: This card offers a wonderful glimpse into pre-WWI life in the San Fernando Valley. Mailed to Miss Villa R. Watkins in East Los Angeles:
"Hello dearie how are you today. am feeling a little dippy at present. may go to the ball game
or band concert later. I may come down most any morning and have some teeth pull. if they
hurt me any more. I take the first train out."
Postal History: Rare Los Angeles & San Pedro R.P.O. (Railway Post Office) circular date stamp. This indicates the card was processed on a moving train.
