This is a World War II patriotic military postcard sent by a Seabee stationed at the Naval Construction Training Center in Gulfport, Mississippi:
"Hello, I want to thank you for the very nice card and as soon as I get a chance I'll see what I can do about writing. We were on a hike yesterday and covered 20 miles. I guess they are getting the fellows tough for the trip across. Say hello to the rest of the folks for me. Harry."
