This historic pairing includes two distinct denominations of Hungarian Adójegy (Tax Notices) issued at the absolute peak of global history's most severe hyperinflation crisis in late May 1946. The set includes a 100,000 Adópengő note printed in a rich violet-brown hue alongside a 500,000 Adópengő note rendered in a sharp, deep greyish-blue ornamental border design.
