"Kochana Mamo i Tata: Dziękuje za list. I will get you a new plan of the underground (from any ticket thing!) Expecting letter then—but I probably won’t answer it properly until after the weekend. Ta for 10/- Missing will pay (on the bill) the Oxford-Paddington—I’ll pay tubes—I don’t need 10/- for that!! I hope!—unless I do something that only a daft druid would! Please can you send me copies (cos they’re to go to Rachel eventually) of photo’s one of each of the cats!"
