Social History: This postcard is a rare "survivor" capturing the second Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré, which was destroyed by fire in March 1922. The presence of the rare blue cachet and the travel itinerary in the message make this a standout piece of Canadian pilgrimage history.

Postal History: The card features a rare, circular Blue Souvenir Cachet ("S. ANNE DE BEAUPRE SOUVENIR"). It was mailed on August 22, 1929, with a Beauce Junction, P.Q. (Quebec) cancellation. The stamp has been removed, but the circular date stamps remain crisp.

Era: Divided Back (1907–1915)
Publisher: Church Store, Ste. Anne de Beaupré
Type: Lithograph
Standard Size: 3.5 x 5.5"
Condition. The stamp has been removed, but the souvenir cachet is vibrant and well-preserved. Note the light edge wear and honest aging that adds to its authentic charm.
