    Issued for D-Day operations. Features the vibrant Tricolor flag on the reverse. Serial #90123971. ~78 x 67 mm

  • 10 Francs "Mineur" 
    Features a miner in a helmet with a pickaxe resting on his right shoulder. Back depicts a young mother holding a baby in her arms, with cows and a small village in the background. Serial #079415927. ~118 mm x 75 mm

  • 10 Francs "Minerve"
    Features the Goddess Minerva (Athena) and a peasant girl with a sickle. Dated 1939-1942. Serial#1839556803. ~138 x 88 mm. 

Security: The 10 Francs Mineur features a watermark of Joan of Arc wearing a helmet, which you can see when holding the note up to the light. The large, empty white circle on the left is where the Minerva watermark is located.

Condition: Circulated. These notes show true wartime history with visible folds, corner wear, and aging (foxing). The 10 Franc Minerve has a particularly rich, aged patina. Please see all photos, including backlit shots showing the watermarks.
