Social History:  Mailed to Miss Ellen Jensen in Denmark, Wisconsin, with a message from her brother: 

"Say Sis - I got home all rigth Sunday but was hard walking. Let me know if you want me home the 5 of March Best Wishes to all from George."

Scene: This card features a rare visual of Seney Island, a "lost" recreation spot once called the "unofficial park" of the city. The island's west channel was eventually filled to make way for the railroad and power plants, completely erasing this idyllic park from the landscape.
