Antique Postcard 1907 Demolished Governor Mansion Lincoln Nebraska 15th H Street

Social History: The card serves as a charming social time capsule; the sender, Eunice M. Brown in Torrington, Wyoming mailed to Miss Beth Southworth in Salix, Iowa: "Tell Papa we are here safely but it is very hot." 

Scene: Features the original Nebraska Governor's Mansion, a grand Victorian residence at 15th and H Streets that was later demolished in 1957. The vibrant color lithography highlights the lush, mature trees and the sprawling porch of the "lost" mansion.
