Social History: This card is a vital piece of Brown County social history. It was sent to H. P. Larsen, a prominent tailor in Denmark, Wisconsin. Mailed from Green Bay in 1913, the card reflects the professional and social networks within the Danish-American "New Denmark" settlement during its industrial and commercial peak.

"Gode gamle Ven! Modtag Ønsket om en rigtig glædelig Jul og et godt frembringende Nytaar, samt de venligste Hilsener sendes dig dine Venner. Tornvig og Hustru og lille Oskar."

"Good old friend! Receive our wishes for a truly Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year, as well as the kindest greetings sent to you by your friends. Tornvig and wife and little Oskar."

Scene: Features a classic Nativity scene set within a scalloped oval medallion. The artwork depicts the Holy Family and shepherds in a traditional stable setting, surrounded by festive holly sprigs, red berries, and two golden bells.
