We stayed the night (Sat.) at Oberammergau pictured here - it is famous for the passion play which is enacted every ten years - next time 1970. It is a beautiful place \u0026amp; we loved it. We awoke Sunday morning after a thunderstorm during the night to hear the cuckoo through our window \u0026amp; to see the Tyrolean Alps covered with snow all round us. Everyone is so kind.
