"We are having a wonderful time - although it is hot, we go out early in the morning and then return mid afternoon. From our hotel balcony we overlook the Nile, and tonight we are crossing over to a restaurant there. We are seeing some wonderful places. Love Caina & Gwyneth"

Scene: Features a high-quality reproduction of the famous wall paintings from the burial chamber of King Tutankhamun (Tut Ankh Amon) in the Valley of the Kings, Thebes. It shows the young Pharaoh being welcomed into the afterlife by deities, including Osiris, the god of the underworld.

Postal: Features a colorful 125 Milliemes Egyptian Air Mail stamp depicting Queen Nefertari; it likely dates to the late 1970s or early 1980s.
