Social History: A sweet note from a traveler named Sarah to "Lizzie" about her journey home: "We are starting for home today where we expect to arrive by Mar 16th. Will be very glad to see you."

Scene: Captured 15 years after the Great Fire of 1901, this card shows a thriving city center at the height of an early 20th-century urban boom. Features early automobiles, horse-drawn carriages, a prominent electric trolley, and a Rug Shop storefront. Look for the people on the sidewalks and the American flag flying high over the skyline.
